The AR55 (or Cookie Box) is a revolutionary portable asphalt reclaimer with heated storage capability. It is designed to reheat virgin or recycled asphalt products to working temperature in minutes instead of hours.
Cold asphalt products in chunks or pre-maid cookie form are placed inside the box on a grating. The infra-red burner is lit and the lid is closed. In approximately 7-10 minutes roughly 200 lbs. of heated material falls through the grating into the heated holding area ready to be accessed through the shovel port. The heating process is unaffected by season or temperature and heated product is untouched by an open flame thus preserving its original integrity. Both upper and lower burners can be fired simultaneously or independently as needed using propane gas. The unit is constructed of 14ga. steel throughout with a heavy barred grating suspended inside the heating chamber. Self-storing handles are provided for easy transport and loading. Striker, high volume regulator, 10’ hoses and 50,000 btu burner/ lighting wand are included. Each unit is constructed in the USA by skilled craftsmen to insure years of service. Hot asphalt repairs can now be made regardless of season or an operating asphalt plant by utilizing bunked up material or unused asphalt from another job. SH-CS Cookie Shovel

The SH-CS cookie shovel is a sturdy built tool designed to shape asphalt into “Cookies” as well as expedite the delivery of hot asphalt to a pot hole or patch site. Transport 5-7 shovels of mix in one trip without carrying the weight. Simply slide with ease to the desired location and dump with complete control. RAP piles are transported just as easily. Utilizing the built in splitter and screed, excess hot mix asphalt can also be shaped into 8” wide ribbons at a 3” thickness and cut to desired length with the integral cutting edge. This shape is optimal for reclaiming at a later time. The “Cookie Shovel” is a valuable labor saver on any patch job and a perfect combo for quick work with the AR55 asphalt reclaimer.

SH-TPGK Guard Kit*

The TPGK guard kit is designed to specifically fit the AR55 Cookie Box asphalt reclaimer. This kit allows two reclaimer boxes to be placed together to form a 1.1 ton hot asphalt transport system. The burner shields slide over the inside of each lid and eliminate damage to the infrared panel when loading asphalt from a silo. The center guard fills the space between two AR55 reclaimers and neatly splits the asphalt between the two machines. This kit is included with the AR55 Twin Pack.

The AR55 Twin Pack is a revolutionary portable asphalt reclaimer as well as a “hot box” asphalt transport and storage system. Comprised of two AR55 (Cookie Boxes) it has a fully loaded capacity of roughly 1.1 ton and fits in the back of any full size pickup truck. The included guard kit will allow filling of the boxes at any asphalt plant without mess or damage to burner components. Hot material can be maintained throughout the work day by utilizing the twin 50,000 btu burners provided. Upon completion of work, excess asphalt can be formed into “cookies” and left to cool for use another day.
